A new European framework to tackle gender-based violence, article published in the journal WeDissent

In November 2024, the fifth issue of WeDISSENT, the annual feminist legal journal of Colectiva 1600s edited by Tania Sordo Ruz, was published.

On this occasion, Elena Laporta Hernández and Samara de las Heras Aguilera share some reflections on the approval process, the importance, and the pros and cons of Directive (EU) 2024/1385 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 May 2024 on combating violence against women and domestic violence, in the negotiation of which they participated as advisers to the European Parliament.
