On November 28, 2025, Fem Ius submitted a shadow report on the Baseline Report by the European Union on measures giving effect to the provisions of the Istanbul Convention, in which we sought to highlight some of the challenges that lie ahead in the coming years. In particular: addressing all forms of violence against women, protecting all women and girls by taking into account their needs and realities, strengthening coordination, ensuring the full participation of civil society, and combating discourses that deny or minimize violence against women and undermine the values of the European Union and the Council of Europe.
